Cold brew is made from water that is never heated. Instead, the brewing time is extended dramatically. The lower temperature and longer brewing time produces a rich, smooth coffee with one third of the acid of hot brew.
Making Cold Brew
Freshly roasted Rogue Elephant coffee beans are coarsely ground just prior to soaking at room temperature for 16 hours. The resulting concentrate is strained and then diluted until perfectly balanced and ready to drink.
Serving Cold Brew
We store our cold brew in chilled nitrogen compressed kegs and serve it from a draft tap over giant frozen cold brew cubes. This ensures that it tastes just as great when we make it as it does when you are taking that last delicious sip.
